DescriptionThis sermon follows on from the first sermon in the manuscript. The sermon begins in this manner: ‘Come my Deare saruant I haue taught thee in my prayer to my all seeing father the very summe of perfection […]’ (cf. first leaf). ‘The fruite of the second sarmon. and affection of ye saruante’ begins on the fifth leaf (recto). This is an address/appeal from the ‘saruante’ to Christ, asking for his pardon; the text reads: ‘enough Deare Lord who can hinder teares to spring forth of my eyes or rather who will giue me an aocane of teares to bewale my sinnes […]’. Written in a neat hand. With catchwords at the bottom of some leaves. Some use of Latin.
