DescriptionThe full title of this sermon is as follows: ‘The eught sarmond how he carrieth his owne crose his holy mother and the woemen of ierusalam bewaile him and how he preach to him.’ ‘Christ’ exhorts his ‘saruant’ to follow him on this last procession. ‘The fruit of ye eytht sarmon’ begins on the fourth leaf (verso). Written in a neat hand. With catchwords at the bottom of some leaves. Some use of Latin.
