Contents NoteIt is conjectured by the cataloguers at the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library that this volume was most likely compiled by Charles Almond, as many of the sermons contained within were delivered at his parish of Thornton, Buckinghamshire, c. 1663-1690.
Material FeaturesFull dark brown calf with gold tooling and traces of metal clasps. 15cm. Bound with a copy of The Whole Booke of Psalms (1638), which has been annotated by Almond. At the end of this volume, there are some more miscellaneous notes written by Almond, in addition to printed waste dating from the sixteenth century. Pp. 70-76 are blank.
