Other NoteActive 1661. Preacher in DWL MS 91.26 (Bundle #16). SI lists a John Bold (ID 2268) and a Thomas Bold (ID 2269), both having preached in Staffordshire before 1660. Philip Henry's Diaries mentions a "Mr. Tho. Bold, son to Mr. Bold late of Hard." in 1661 (p. 97) and a "Mr. Bold of Dosretsh. suspended for his sermon about persecution" in 1682 (p. 319). A "Mr Bold" is also noted as having preached on several occasions, but there is no indication of which person this is.
