Contents NoteAn account book kept by Elizabeth Bourne. Her accounts include prices paid for clothes, flowers, servants’ expenses, food, jewellery, and husband’s allowances. At the end of the volume, written in reverse, are notes for several sermons. Each consists of a few lines running to a maximum of one paragraph. The first three sermons can be found on the first leaf, while the fourth sermon is split over two pages. The fifth sermon follows the fourth sermon.
