Other NotePrecise date of birth unknown, but Iles matriculated from Christ Church, Oxford in 1604 at age 16. He graduated with a B.A. (1608), M.A. (1611), B.D. and D.D. (1619). Ordained in 1613. He was a canon of Gloucester beginning 1622. Principle of Hart Hall (1621-1633). Rector of Lasborough, Gloucestershire (1609-1642), Todenham, Gloucestershire (1618-1642), and Little Monegham, Kent (1635-1637). He was deprived in 1648 and died on 6 June 1649. CCEd has this information split into two entries, with the rectorship of Lasborough in a separate entry from the rest. This separate entry has no D.D. degree and an ordination date in 1607. Thus, it is possible that another Thomas Iles was rector of Lasborough.
