Other NoteBorn in Lancashire, probably son of James Ottiwell. He was baptised at Stretford Chapel, Manchester and schooled in Manchester. He matriculated at Emmanuel College, Cambride in 1648 and then migrated to Brasenose College, Oxford, where he was granted a B.A. in 1650. He was ordained as a Presbyterian to the ministry of Chelford, Cheshire in 1652. He was the minister of Wrenbury, Cheshire from 1652 to 1663 and perhaps the pastor of Aston, Cheshire. He was also vicar of Ellesmere, Shropshire.
