Other NoteBL Cataloguer identifies this person as vicar of Thorley, Isle of Wight. Born in Southampton, he matriculated from St. Alban Hall, 1602, aged 16; BA,1605; MA, 1608; BD, 1620-1. Became vicar of Thorley, Isle of Wight in 1614. The cataloguer further identifies this person as having been sent to Greece by Lord Arundel to collect antiquities, but ACAD suggests that this was a contemporary with the same name, who was not ordained priest until 1625.
