Other NoteIdentified in Dr Williams's Library MS 28.8 as "John Lloyd of Rhywaedog". Husband of Mary Lloyd (d. 1677). Subject of a funeral sermon preached on 31 January 1679. AO (Foster) lists numerous people named John Lloyd, several of whom were connected to Merionethshire, where Rhiwaedog was located. Of these, one could perhaps have died in 1679: the John Lloyd who matriculated from Hart Hall, Oxford in 1634 (at age 17) and who was a student of Inner Temple.
