Other NoteThe exact date of birth of Eyllaerdt Swanston is unknown. He married Alice Ivieson on 16 December 1619 in the parish of St Gregory by St Paul's, London. The parish registers of St Mary Aldermanbury, London, show records of the baptisms of ten of their children between 1620 and 1639. Swanston was an actor who joined the King's Men some time before 20 December 1624. Amongst his many roles was Othello. Eyllaerdt Swanston was buried with his wife at St Mary Aldermanbury on 28 June 1651. Edmund Calamy (the elder) preached their funeral sermon.
