Other NoteThomas Kerslake was born in July 1812 in Exeter. In 1828, he moved to Bristol, becoming a second-hand bookseller. His shop was based at Park Street, Bristol, from 1839. By 1870, he had moved the premises to Queen's Road, Bristol. Following his retirement, Kerslake devoted himself to antiquarian studies. He died on 5 January 1891.
