Other NoteGraduated from St Andrews in 1641 he was called to Carmunnock 20 December 1649 and admitted 8 May 1650. He was deprived by the Act of Parliament in June 1662. He was denounced in 1664 for continuing to preach and baptise his old parishioners. He was imprisoned twice between 1668-1670. In 1679 he was in Haggs, under the Maxwell's of Pollok, celebrating the Communion in the fields. He returned to Carmunnock parish on the Toleration in 1687, was restored by the Act of Parliament 1690 and died 6 July 1691 - aged 75.
