Contents NoteAlong with MS. Rawl. E. 166, contains sermons by Richard Baylie written in his own hand. Includes a university bidding prayer on f. 1r written during the reign of Charles II.
Material FeaturesPaper, 54 leaves, 8 x 5 1/4 inches. A confusing manuscript: after f. 7v, at least 6 leaves appear to have been cut out, so it is not clear whether the sermon ending on f. 7v is complete. However, there are numbers continuous with the sermon’s contemporary pagination on the stubs of the leaves. (Numbers 12 through 16 are visible, at least in part.)

Other NoteOne of the sermons was preached in 1645/6 and the other was preached during the reign of Charles II (but before Baylie's death in 1667). According to the cataloguer, Baylie was identified as the author and preacher by William Dunn Macray.
