Other NoteHolman was born in Dorset but had relocated to London by 1690, becoming chaplain to the pastor of the Stepney Independent meeting. In 1700 he became pastor of Old Independent Chapel, Parsonage Street, Halstead, Essex, where he remained until his death in 1730. He is also known as a historian of Essex county.
