Contents NoteManuscript volume of sermons compiled in 1670. Preceding these sermons is a prayer, copied out twice (unpaginated) and addressed to 'Almighty & everlasting God'. The first prayer is incomplete; the second is complete. In between these two prayers, on the third page of the manuscript, is a record of the loan of two books on 20 March 1691/2. After the prayers follows a short list of 'Texts preached upon', referring to eight of the sermons which follow (the first three are omitted). The last five pages of the manuscript contain a list of theological works; authors include Andrewes, Stillingfleet, and Taylor. There is also a prayer on the penultimate leaf of the volume (recto). There are very few corrections to the sermons, suggesting that these were transcriptions.
