Full title on f.1 reads: “The Summe and substance of 22 Sermons preached by that Reverend Devine Mr. Edmond Calamy, minister of Aldermanbery London, in the yeare 1652. Shewing how far a Hipocrite may goe in the Profession of Christian Religion, and yet come short of Heaven”.
The sermons seem to have been amalgamated without clear divisions, so sermon listings are approximate only.
Inscribed on inside cover by Samuel Sheafe, 1653.
Material Features352 pp. Volume is clearly planned and well presented, with margins and headers ruled in red on every page and numbered pages. Includes an index at the back giving "some of the principal heads treated of in this booke'.
