Contents NoteWritten from both sides. The first side contains various Latin texts. The second side contains texts in English including copies of letters and last words spoken by various individuals. After that, quite a few pages have been cut out, followed by some copies of sermons. The sermons are neatly transcribed without any marginal annotations. Based on the note at the end of the Sermon on Colossians 1:29, they would appear to be fair copies of auditor’s notes.
Material FeaturesOblong notebook in leather binding, in poor condition with front board detached. The front lyleaf is signed “James McGregor’s Book 1778.” Binding stamped front and back “MWF.” No pagination or foliation.
