Contents NoteA notebook of sermons, c. 1689-1726. Preacher unknown. The sermons were preached at 'C. H.' or 'Castle H.' (which may stand for Castle Hedingham, Essex) and occasionally at Gestingthorpe, Essex.
Material FeaturesOctavo. Sewn on four raised bands. Late 17th-early 18th-century binding. The manuscript is in delicate condition. There are pen trials on the second flyleaf (recto). The St. Paul's Cathedral Library bookplate can be found on the inside front cover.

John Couelman [Coleman?] may have been the scribe/notetaker as the signature matches the hand used within the notebook.
