Contents NoteThe volume contains sermon notes, verses, entries by Cowper on the births of his children and grandchildren, and an obituary of his mother Joyce Clayton and a copy of "an Act of Faith by Doctor Taylor". The inside cover is dated "Will. Cowper August the 12 1658". However, there are older notes made in another hand, including a series of sermons written in reverse dating from 1646-7.
