Contents NoteA collection of notes from various sermons preached, apparently in Oxford, during the Commonwealth. The greater part of the sermons have the names of "B. Kinge" and "Dr. Iles" noted in the margin; other names included are "Dr. Cluet" [i.e., Richard Cluet, GEMMS Person 242], "Dr. Goodwin," and "Mr. Ramsden of Carfaux." The notes frequently contain patristic quotations. On f. 103 is a note Identifying the mystical number 666 with the names "Petro a Borgese, Romano" and "PP. Petro Paullo V." Also includes some tracts, mostly in Latin, collected by Thomas Hearne.
