AcquisitionPart of the Rawlinson collection (Rawlinson K). Upon Richard Rawlinson's death in 1755, his manuscript collection was donated to the Bodleian library. Smith's manuscripts were among the personal collections of Thomas Hearne, which were part of Rawlinson's bequest.
