Contents NoteManuscript is not catalogued separately, but part of the second box of a collection entitled "Records of various societies and organisations in Chelmsford", most of which are much later. A fair copy of twelve of Ezekiel Wright's funeral sermons. The flyleaf is inscribed by his son: "“Begun to write in this Book April 1700 @ aged 65 yeares By Mr Ezekiel Wright Senior who departed this miserable life for a better on Good Friday March the 30th (1711) at nine a clock at night in the seventy six yeare of his age – and on Saturday April the 7th my dear father, was decently Interred at Weald Church in Essex. Mr H De Luzancy Burryed him".
Material Featuresff. 128r. Bound in brown leather with embossing showing that it was once part of Chelmsford Public Library. Inscribed in a later hand "Paul Townes".
