Contents NoteNoted on the parchment cover as being that of Dr. Robert Beaumont, Master of Trinity college, Cambridge, Archdeacon of Huntingdon and Prebendary of Ely. Contents chiefly consisting of academical exercises and sermons in 1559-62. This manuscript is rather difficult. There are many brief entries here which are probably sermons or sermon notes. However, many do not include dates or places or give a sermon text. For example, there are notes in Latin and English from the early 1560s on ff. 87v-88r preached at Huntingdon and Hitchin, but they are extremely brief and fragmented. Only those entries which are of a reasonable length and where some contextual information can be identified have been included.
