Contents NoteA collection of material from works published by Richard Chiswell (1640-1711) in St. Paul's Churchyard, including titles, prefaces, and excerpts. The works were published during the reigns of Charles II, James II, William III and Mary II. These manuscripts were submitted to various licensers and many of them include the signature of the Warden of the Stationers' Company. Includes a sermon by Gilbert Burnet in his own hand, preached at the coronation of William III and Mary II, which was published by Chiswell (ff.174r-178v). The volume also contains title pages of sermons, which presumably were also published by Chiswell.
