Contents NoteThe manuscript contains letters and papers used by Robert Nelson in preparing for publication The life of Dr. George Bull (bishop of St. Davids, 1705-1710) which was published in 1713. It also contains transcripts of sermons preached by Thomas Tenison and John Tillotson, among others, some of them in shorthand. No key is provided. Very brief notes where only the preacher is identified have not been included in GEMMS as separate entries unless they name a preacher for whom no longer entry is included.
Material FeaturesThis is a collection of loose papers mounted on boards and collected among Nelson's papers and research materials for his biography of Dr. Bull. The sermons appear to be transcribed in the same hand.
