Other NoteThe Summary Catalogue dates this manuscript to the first half of the seventeenth century, but this is incorrect. Dr. George Hickes lived from 1642-1715, and these were almost certainly his sermons. There is a note on f. 153v that credits the sermons to "Bp. Hickes", and George Hickes became the titular Bishop of Thetford for the nonjurors in 1694. These sermons likely date from the late seventeenth or early eighteenth centuries.
