Contents NoteStrode has entitled this diary, "'Certaine breife thinges wch I observed at the Parlam[en]t, when I was a Burgise for warum in Dors[e]t wch begann the 19 day of February... 1592 [O.S.] and ended the 10th of Aprill then next followinge". The volume includes a sermon (f. 44r-v) and notes on a sermon (ff. 41r-43v), the latter preached by (Stephen?) Egerton. Other items in the volume include an Strode's notes for speeches against a recusancy bill (ff. 13v-15v, 16v-19), an account of parliamentary procedue (ff. 20v-30r), and an account of Queen Elizabeth's dissolution of Parliament (ff. 30r-36r).
