Contents NoteA sermon by John Perry preached on the occasion of the death of Bennet Sherard, 2nd Baron Sherard in 1700.
Material Features8 leaves. On f. 1v, a note is written in a different hand from the sermon, but it is partly cut off by the edge of the page. It explains that the sermon was preached "By Mr Perry Minister of Stap[leford]:" and dedicated "to My Lady Sherrard after ye Death" of her husband.

ProvenanceThis manuscript was formerly included in a volume of pamphlets in the Harmsworth Collection entitled "A remonstrance, against presbitery" (Wing A4078). According to a card added on f. 8r, it was removed from this volume in 1952. This manuscript was also formerly Folger MS 520109.
