F. 2 includes a mainly unused index to the volume; f. 3v provides an index to the later sermons in the sections where contemporary pagination is used, including the dates of some sermons.

AcquisitionHiggin left his library (around 1250 volumes), to Ripon Cathedral on his death, and it is now preserved in the Brotherton Library.
