Contents NoteTwenty-three sermons preached at Canfield in Essex (preacher unknown). The last two sermons in the volume were delivered on the following occasions: the Great Fire of London (1666), and a fast day for the Great Plague of London (1665-1666). Judging by the hand, the other sermons in the volume were delivered in the seventeenth century. The contents of the volume are written in the same hand as the sermons (see the recto of the flyleaf).
Material FeaturesQuarto. Leather, brown. The manuscript is in delicate condition. The bookplate of St. Paul's Cathedral Library is pasted on the inside front cover.
