Other NoteEgerton MS 2560 contains a letter from James Thompson dated "Cheesewicke 10 May 1662" to Sir Edward Nicholas, sending a sermon for the remembrance of the martyrdom of Charles I. CCEd has two James Thompsons as possible candidates. One was the vicar of Merrington, Durham (Person ID: 63090), and the other the rector of Lurgashall, Sussex (Person ID: 70653).
