Other NoteAlderman of Southampton, fl. c. 1660s. Could be the father of William Stanley (b. c. 1664; AO [Foster]), who lived in Southampton. John Couraud's funeral sermon for Mr. Edward Stanley (MS. Rawl. D. 1336) includes a dedicatory address to him, so presumably the two Stanleys are related.
