Other NoteWilliam de Laune was a Reformed minister and physician in France before becoming a refugee in England following the St Bartholomew's Day Massacre in 1572. He initially served as minister in Rye, before moving to London in 1575 where he continued to practice medicine and was assistant pastor at the French church.
