Other NotePrecise date of birth unknown, but Flavell was baptized on 26 September 1630. Servitor at University College, Oxford, 1646-c. 1648. Minister of Diptford, Devon beginning in 1650, and of Dartmouth, Devon beginning in 1656. Flavell was ejected in 1662, but continued to preach in Dartmouth and elsewhere. Licensed as a Congregationalist to preach in Dartmouth in 1672.
