Other NoteAdams was educated at Exeter Academy and ordained in 1713 and preached at Chudleigh, Devon (1713-1726) and Dartmouth, Devon (1726-1746). He was succeeded by his son John in 1746, which may have been the year of his death; however, his death has also been recorded in other sources as occurring in 1731, 1736, and 1751.
