Other NoteFl. 1696-1706. Shepherd is mentioned by Joseph Keble as the preacher of several sermons in MS. Rawl. E. 210-211. He was "Mr Shepherd" in 1696, but he was "Dr Shepherd" in 1706. There are no results in ODNB, AO (Foster), ACAD (Venn), CCEd, or SI for preachers named Shepherd who were D.D. in this period. It is also possible that Keble heard different preachers named Shepherd in different years.
