The AO entry notes that Foster was B.A. (1654/5) and M.A. (1657) from Exeter College, Oxford. The CCEd entry notes only that he was M.A. The AO entry notes that he was vicar of Dedham, Essex from 1665 to 1671. The CCEd entry notes that he was deacon of Carshalton, Surrey in 1695.
