Other NoteFl. 1706. Walker is mentioned by Joseph Keble in MS. Rawl. E. 211 as the preacher of a sermon at Gray's Inn. Walker is a very common name, and it is unclear which Walker this might be. Keble has written what appears to be "Archbp ______ Chaplain". ACAD (Venn) lists a John Walker as chaplain to the Archbishop of Canterbury in 1725, but neither ACAD nor AO (Foster) mentions anyone named Walker as an archbishop's chaplain in 1706.
