No one with this surname appears in ODNB, AO (Foster), ACAD (Venn), CCEd, or SI. The name is perhaps 'Garbrand'. AO and CCEd list a Thomas Garbrand, who graduated B.A. from Pembroke College, Oxford in 1704. He is the only person with this name whose career dates match the associated sermons.
