Became chaplain to the Duke of Beaufort in 1706. Rector of Sopworth, Wiltshire, 1710-1711. Rector of Chalton with Clanfield, Hampshire from 1711 until his death in 1736. Preacher at Bridewell Hospital beginning in 1698 and chaplain there beginning in 1713, until his death.
