Other NoteStudied at Richard Frankland's Academy beginning in 1687. Sources differ on when he was ordained: it was either 1696 or 1698. After his ordination, he preached at Newton-in-Bowland, Lancashire. He was assistant at Wymondhouses in Altham, Lancashire and later became minister there in 1702, upon the death of his uncle, Thomas Jollie, who held the position before him. John Jolly died on 29 June 1725.
