Other NoteSir Ralph Sadleir was born in 1579. He was the grandfather of Sir Ralph Sadleir, a diplomat who had served under Thomas Cromwell, Henry VIII, and Edward VI. He married Anne, daughter of Sir Edward Coke, on 13 September 1601. He died in 1661. A portrait of him hangs in Sutton House, Hackney.
