Other NoteSir Ralph Coningsby was born c. 1555, the first son of Sir Henry Coningsby of North Mimms, and Elizabeth, daughter of Sir John Boteler of Watton Woodhall, Hertfordshire. He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford and Lincoln's Inn; he proceeded B.A. on 31 March 1571. He was sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1596-1597, and received a knighthood on 18 April 1603. He was M.P. of Hertfordshire in 1614. He died on 23 March 1616.
