Other NoteMartin was the subject of a funeral sermon preached by Thomas Jacombe on 18 December 1681. He is identified in the printed version of the sermon as a "Citizen of London". He is perhaps the Matthew Martin who attended Christ Church College, Oxford from 1669 to 1672 (AO [Foster]).
