Other NoteUnable to identify anyone of this name in GEMMS biographical sources. The Westminster Abbey Library Catalogue of Additional Manuscripts reveals that Gerrard owned a number of works by Archbishop John Dolben (1625-1686). A letter to him from the Dean of Westminster, dated from Wigan, 25 February 1961, requests the Dean to accept these volumes owing to 'their Westminster interest', as he was moving to Wales and disposing of most of his library. The Catalogue is only available on-site.
