Other NotePerhaps the son of Thomas Proctor, rector of Gissing, Norfolk. Matriculated from Corpus Christi, Cambridge in 1601; BA, 1604-5; MA and ordination,1608; BD,1614/5. Appointed rector of Gissing, Norfolk in 1613, a post which he held during the interregnum and afterwards, subscribing in 1662. ACAD suggests a death date of 1668, but this date is contradicted by a funeral sermon from 1670.
