Other NotePrecise date of birth unknown, but Drake matriculated from Brasenose College, Oxford in 1634 at age 14. Gained MA from Brasenose in 1644. Appointed as a deacon by Robert Skinner in Oxford in 1644 and as a priest in 1646. Was subdean of Ripon, Yorkshire from July 1662 and rector of Dunnington, Yorkshire from September 1666 to July 1681. Prebendary of Dunnington at York Minster in 1681.
