Other NoteIdentified by John Lister as "Jonas Hemingway of Mythome". Younger son of Robert Hemingway and brother of John Hemingway. Record DD99/A5/18 in the Yorkshire Archaeological and Historical Society records that in 1641 "Robert Hemingway of Mythome and John his son and heir surrendered an annuity of £3 issuing out of a messuage and 4 closes of land in Hipperholme and Morthowrome, to use of Jonas Hemingway a younger son."
