Other NoteBorn in Cheshire in approximately 1639. Admitted to Emmanuel College, Cambridge in 1657, and graduated BA in 1600/1 and MA in 1605. He was the vicar of Elland, Yorkshire from 1663 to 1667, and of Batley, Yorkshire from 1667 to his death in 1685. He was buried at Batley. He was the father of Elizabeth Broadhead, who was the mother of Josiah Ray (ACAD [Venn] ID: RY7267).
