Other NoteBorn at Eccleshill near Bradford, Yorkshire the son of William Brookesbank. Schooled at Bradford and admitted at the age of 18 to Christ's College, Cambridge on 22 March 1659/60. Graduated BA in 1663/4. Ordained as a deacon on 24 September 1664. Ordained as a priest at Lincoln in March 1666/7. Precentor of Limerick from 1669 to 1689 and Dean of Clonfert, County Cork from 1670 to 1692.
